These are better... I was going to say better 'before pictures' but when I look at them there is nothing 'better' about them. I have a lot of work ahead of me. So having that in mind I did go for that rainy run I've been talking about for the past few days. At least it was not blowing like crazy but it was wet and cold. My poor toes came back all red and stiff. The rest of me came back very proud of myself for braving the elements without rainproof gear. Not bad for a 52 year old. And that ends my grumblings about my age.
So there seems to be a problem with my running. True, I have not been running a lot lately but I am noticing that I get tired earlier and run much slower than I used to. I wonder if I can find any good excuse for that or is it just that I am in worse shape and heavier, I mean much h e a v i e r.
PX90 - this is a killer workout. If I keep doing it I will either reverse my aging (there I go again) or I will drop dead in the middle of the floor. I like the first option better though and I can feel already how some of my leg muscles have developed through running and others withered from disuse. And what happened to my balance. It's been fooling me as to where vertical is.
I had to skip some pullups because I did not feel like going upstairs where my chinup bar is. That would be too much exercise.
EXTRA! EXTRA! I signed up for a 20k trail run with PCT Trails at Pirates Cove. Kenneth will be running with me. Now we really have to do the training. I am very, very excited.
And now for my favorite part of the training, making up training plans. Then, as it usually goes, I can keep revising them as I keep on missing my workouts. :)
